The most holy Author says,

«"The just man lives by faith." (To the Romans chp. 1, v.17)

By quoting these words, the Apostle who at one time was proud of his own rabbinical knowledge, makes himself into a "child", that is, humble and simple, and confesses, rather he professes, "I am not ashamed of the Gospel, the power of God unto salvation to everyone who believeth... For the justice of God is revealed therein, from faith unto faith."

There was a time for Paul in which even more than being ashamed of believing in the actual Gospel, he was ashamed of the Gospel like an opprobrium that had been thrown amongst the inspired words, or the learned words of the wisdom of Israel. And to cancel that opprobrium, written in the minds of the followers of the Nazarene, he persecuted them by extinguishing in one the evangelical words and life, believing to be victorious. However, the eternal Word, the One who no human or diabolical force can silence, terrified him on the road to Damascus by asking him, "Why do you persecute me?"

Those who oppress the little voices, those who oppress the ones who speak in the name of God, and they, the present learned, know how they were called in the Old Testament and know what their mission is - because they are and always will be, until the end of time, like the heralds of God amongst the troubled blind - should meditate and learn much from that "you persecute me"; they should fear persecuting the Word and shudder at doing so.

God lives in the instrument of God. He lives not in an ordinary manner but in an extraordinary manner. The human personality is no more than the veil that keeps [within it] the ever active Holy of Holies, because God is never inert on His throne beyond the veil.

When the ferocious army of Chaldees defeated the Israelites in the capital city, having not yet paid enough, they [Chaldees] burnt the house of God and removed all the riches and sanctities of the Temple; when the powerful Roman legions destroyed the Temple on Moria forever, according to the prophecy of Jesus Christ, against whom truly were they hurling themselves? Against the edifice, the priesthood, the instruments of the Temple, or against the incorporeal Enty, who in the mind of the Israelites, filled it with Himself?

I say, "in the mind of the Israelites" because from the ninth hour of that Parasceve which is the abyss of Mercy and the abyss of Crime, the Spirit of God had abandoned the Holy of Holies, the glory of the Tabernacle, and even in those hours of the incense, it was empty. But the Idea still existed. And that Idea was everything for Israel.

Oh! miserable, miserable, superficial men who, even if you are practicing Catholics, so half-hearted are you for the Idea, for Christianity, and for the Church that are the Idea which is strength, power, cohesion, victory, and salvation against human and damned human souls [spirits], armies of the servants of the Dragon; meditate on this great lesson that comes from the Levites: when inertia, sin, or the consent to satanic doctrines permit that the enemies of God and of the spirits assail, destroy, and disperse the one holy, true, eternal Idea - God - in that which is preached and represented, everything, and I say everything becomes dispersed and destroyed, even that which you would not want to be: your egotistical personal good, family fortunes, peace, and at times, even the family.

Rise, oh Christians. One day, to Jesus who was sleeping, He was shouted to, "Awaken, oh Master, we are perishing." However, now, it is God who is shouting to you, "Awaken, oh Christians, because if you do not awaken, you will perish. The storm is above you." To old Israel, it was said, "To your tents, oh Israel" in order to gather them together to defend the religion and the homeland. To you I shout, "To your tabernacles, oh Christian people. To your faith! To your Lord Jesus Christ! To the Victor [Blessed Virgin] who conquers Satan! Rise! Rekindle the lamp and the fire of faith and charity, and strip off the overly carnal garments which make you dull and lazy, and re-clothe yourselves of righteousness."

You, you only must save yourself. Your victory is in your will. God observes you, but He no longer saves you through His own will. He has done so, many times, and you have turned the victory of salvation into a step in order to descend into darkness, into the cold, into vice. I said it at the beginning of (little) John's work. You have either laughed, derided or cursed the little voice who repeated my words to you. However, many, because they were divine, have already been fulfilled.

Do not laugh, do not deride, do not curse these [words]. Receive them. Defend them yourselves, your families, your peace, your well-being, by defending the divine Idea, the Church, and Faith. Satan and his servants seek to strike at the Idea: the Church and Faith, that is, the heart, the blood, and the breath which maintain your life alive. Sorrowful, yes. Demanding, yes. But if Satan were to triumph in a world without God, three times woe to you all.

You do not know! I do not lift the veil upon that horror that is already in action and which is closing its ranks in order to launch the attack. I point out Heaven to you: God; I point out the heart of Christianity to you: the Vatican, Rome; I point out the tabernacle to you. Defend them so that they may be defended. And meditate well upon my words.

And do not be, individually, similar to those who set out to persecute God in His Idea, in the Roman Church, and in the Faith, persecuting Jesus Christ in His little voices. Do not persecute Jesus Christ, I say. Because He says with His divine, just sincerity, "Why do you persecute me?"

Yes. You. It is He whom you persecute in these to whom you do not give any peace. Yes. You. It is He whom you persecute in these because you deny that the Word speaks in them, that the Holy Spirit speaks, who is always the author of every divine lesson.

Imitate Paul as in the second half of his human life, assuming you know how to imitate him when he is still Saul of Tarsus, of the tribe of Benjamin, a Pharisee and persecutor of Christians. And do not be ashamed, you, the new rabbis, of learning matters of faith and wisdom not known to you up until now, of learning them from a little voice.

With respect to the rich, powerful and stately Gamaliel, similar to a king out of pomp and for his courtiers, and the living book of wisdom for Israel, the meek Master of Nazareth must have appeared very contemptible to Saul of Tarsus who knew His social condition, His methods of teaching and manner of life... But when the scales of Pharisaism fell, not from the pupils of his eyes but of his spirit, and with decennial applications, he discerned in the wisdom of the Gospel "the power of God unto salvation to everyone who believeth... For the justice of God is revealed therein, from faith unto faith," Paul recognized that in the Gospel "the justice manifested comes from faith and tends towards faith."

This justice, rendered luminous and comprehensible from the goodness of the same Word of God, who has pity on you, manifests itself in the gift which the little voice has given to you in our Name.

The just ones love. Love is light. Light allows [us] to recognize. The just ones believe. They have a living thirst of wanting to believe always more. They understand that knowledge is a great help to believing. They feel that believing is life because it is love. And love is life because it is God, the Living One, abiding within them, and they within God.

And here is how, by taking the long path, we have reached the first proposition of today's dictation, "The just man lives by faith." And the more the just man has the heart of a child, the more he knows how to live by faith. And it is for this reason that the divine Master said, "If you do not become like children, you will not enter the Kingdom of Heaven. The child knows how to believe. And it is for this knowing how to believe that he knows God and deserves to eternally possess and enjoy Him, even if he dies before becoming learned, as you all are.

Truly, much knowledge is hardly ever salvation. It is not because "to whosoever much has been given, much shall be required," and "for whosoever has taken possession of treasures is hardly ever assaulted by thieves." However, you still do not know this ancient proverb nor do you know of what thieves I am speaking. You who are learned, endeavor to recognize them. By recognizing them, you can defend yourselves from the death which they are armed to give to you.

However, "little children" do not have these perils. They know how to "live by faith". Simply. They confide in the Lord, and it is said that the one who trusts in the Lord understands the truth. Therefore, they understand, even without scientifically knowing. They understand: through the love which is alive within them, and because they have for masters Love and their guardian angel.»
