The most divine Author says,
«I have made you contemplate the two natures of Jesus, Son of God and of Man, and how the divine nature by annihilating itself and by limiting itself in the brief confines of a human flesh - it: infinite - did not let itself be dejected by this, but rather has divinized the human nature by recreating the new Adam, in a new terrestrial paradise where everything is beautiful and good; - beautiful to see and good to taste - where they are strong and uncontaminated by the serpentine embraces of the tree of Life, that is, of Grace, and that of the Knowledge of Good and of Evil, to which, however, the hand is not avidly outstretched in order to eat of the fruit and become "gods", according to the deceptive promise, but to whose sapiential whispering the pure ear is placed in order to learn Good and flee Evil, praying with compassion for those who are unwise, who do not listen to the whispering of the fronds moved by the good wind of God, but to that of the whistle, next to the roots, of the Tempter.
Two voices. But how different they are! One comes from the summits that range in the open spaces in the purity of the airs and which are made luminous by the sun. The other one comes from below, from the earth, from the semidarkness. The voice of God: Light, Wisdom and Truth. The voice of Satan: Darkness, Mud and Falsehood.
The first Eve placed her ear and lowered her gaze to the voice of darkness, mud and falsehood. The second Eve - the second terrestrial paradise where God was pleased to converse with Innocence in the cool of the evening, that is, in the peace of a spirit that ignored the fevers and the heat of lust - placed Her ear to the voice of Light, Wisdom and Truth.
Oh, new terrestrial paradise of God! Oh beautiful, graceful, pure garden of delights, where everything that is, is a gift of God, with venerable care of love preserved beautifully and purely in order to be open for the repose of the Eternal, offered to the Love so that it could be His Abode, the garden sprinkled by the purest Fount fertilizing the earth (men) which to His Water - Jesus - they turn, the place of delights from the river of grace which divides itself into four branches, into four arms: the first, in adoration of the Eternal; the second, of love for ones neighbour; the third, of pity for the prodigal or those who have strayed outside of the paternal borders, those who have separated from the blessed Vine and from the Life; and the fourth, of mercy for all the miseries of the living and the former living.
From You, oh Mary, oh Virgin, for a reversing of the factors, the Man, the Christ was brought forth without any fecundation of human seed being necessary to make your womb fertile. You only Generated. By Yourself, you conceived and gave the Light to the light. Grace, already full in You, in an exhaltation of uncontainable ardours, penetrated your womb and the Word took flesh in order to live amongst men and give them Life.
For wanting to be "like God", the first Eve lost that which makes of the man animal, a child of God. Without any type of gluttony, for wanting to be only a servant, You were divine for the marriage of divine love and for the divine Maternity.
To You who felt like the smallest and poorest amongst all women, and just did you find the sorrow which was your soliticious companion in life, to You who found it just in having to suffer the consequences of the Sin with great difficulties, sufferings and death, oh beautiful Virgin, humble, chaste, patient, obedient, loving and the new Eve, Immaculate through the will of God, and through your own will faithful to Grace, God decreed, "You will not die, She who gave Life to the Earth cannot die." But rather, for having given the Fruit of your womb, for having given Him so that He be gathered, and pressed, and eaten, and squeezed, Bread, Wine, Blood, Redeemer, your eyes will open and you will be like God by having the knowledge of Good and Evil in order to love and teach how to love the first, admirable Teacher, and to combat the second with your weapons.
Through You, the new Adam. Through You, Order is reconstructed. Through You, Grace to men. Through You, the Redemption. Through You, the Christ, and through You and the Christ, I, the Holy Spirit.
I made you fecund and it seems to men that You have only given the Word made Flesh. However, He who sees and knows says that You have given - in a beyond sublime maternity in which your flesh is not even clay to model the divine Form - you have given the Holy Spirit to men. That Holy Spirit without whom men are powerless to love, understand, and to live love.
That Holy Spirit without whom there is no knowledge of God.
That Holy Spirit without whom there is no progeny in God.
That Holy Spirit, the arouser of the heroisms of the saints.
That Holy Spirit, divine theologian of human theologians.
That Holy Spirit who strengthens the prayers of the mortals by crying out, "Father" in their name.
That Holy Spirit, munificent giver of gifts which perfect and complete the supernatural virtues by fertilizing the spirit, by rendering it active, docile, [making it] ready to live the true life of a Christian, that is, of a child of God.
Well, this Spirit of the Spirit of God, the superessence of Divine Love, Christ has given it to you and He has given it to you through Mary, Mother of Christ and your Mother, not in a symbolic but in a real sense, because a mother is she who gives life, and Mary has given Life to you, and consequently, the Holy Spirit, that is, He who keeps Life in you, and more yet, who makes you the bearers of Christ; moreover: of "other Christs" according to Paul's phrase, "It is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me."
The smaller one becomes obscured before the greater one, he becomes absorbed, and the greater one overpowers and shines by annulling the smaller one, not by overwhelming but by elevating to a higher degree, by absorbing and assimilating littleness to Fullness, weakness to Strength, narrowness to the Infinite.
A king who draws a poor naked child found on a road towards him to the throne and would love him to the point of making him his heir and have him be acclaimed by the crowds, keeping him under his regal cloak, the crowds not scorning him, this poor little child, because they do not see him, they see only the king in his majesty, the little child happily clasping himself to the good king as far as disappearing in the embellishments of the regal garments, happy to disappear this way; such would be the most precise symbol of this condition, of a Christian who has become another Christ.
Mary was no different pregnant with God; She felt the creature within herself, annulled by the All who was enclosed within her womb. Not Her, but He who was in Her, She saw, She carried, and She gave for the veneration of men.
Even you Christians, the Spirit fertilizes with Christ, and if your will seconds the will of the Love, Christ takes life in you, and you joined together with Him become "one thing only" with the Father, with the Son and with the Holy Spirit who unites Them, just as it was requested by Jesus in the prayer of the last Supper, because with the Three who are One, you may make your eternal abode and delight in love, and later in the glory of God and in the joyful peace which is the reward of those who welcomed the Light and the Word and who lived in Love and Truth, being born to God and of God and by giving testimony to the living Christ in them, with a perfect life, according to the command and example of Christ.»
